I'm here now, but I couldn't get the link on LVA homepage to work for message boards. Had to go through a link that was on a different LVA page to get the forum to ask for my login. Had to go through member forums under member info.

Edited: I figured it out after looking at the homepage and finding both links. I'm just a little slow, from Iowa you know.

Yes I see the issue. Golly I love microsoft...

First go to Tools> Compatibility View and check the box

Now the button is in a scroll box...if you scroll to the right you will see the button.

I am here...I don't care for all the ghostly white back grounds, its reallyhard to navigate around stuff, and lots of links or buttons take you directly back to the LOG IN screen all over again.

Also wondering...What happens if some one clicks on "Inapropriate" on one of my comments?

Does it get removed? Or does it hide it?

I would say that 98% of my comments can be considered inapropriate....

Would love to have an answer to that...old fogeys that don't like my comments can hide my comments? or do they just get flagged somewhere?

Some body click the "inappropriate" button on me, and lets see what happens.

I got 9/5 odds that it will take you back to the "LOG IN TO FORUMS" page. LOL

Really though...do it...I don't mind.

Well I've used firefox and IE8 and it works in both of those browsers.

the reply balloon appears directly below the pinkish responses box if you hover over the PM that you wish to reply to

Okay, I see how that works now. I was trying to reply while having the actual PM open, which is the way the old forums work. I don't like not being able to have it open while writing my response, though. Sometimes PM's are long and you need to refer several times to different parts to write your response. :(

I'm here, but it took some doing :( Had to log in several times - when I did finally see the forums (instead of just the banner at the top of the page) the page went blank whenever I tried to click on one. Don't know why it worked after several tries, but I do know I won't be putting this much effort into it every time. Lets hope things improve.

Well this is different. So......one has to log in to even read here? No peeking in and lurking? LOL The avatars are way too small. As stated by others. Yes...I agree...too much white too. I'm sure there is an adjustment curve for pleasant changes to things like that. After all the stressing from others the last few months, I was able to see the "new forum" link and get logged in A-Okay.

There is too much screen space assigned to each post making it burdensome to scroll down the page to look for posts.

Im waiting to see the first advertisement -- I am curious to see if the ads will be for Anthony's business or for this forum hosting company.

I hope Anthony didnt give away the gold mine just so some other company would host the forums. Anthony if you don't have control of the advertising revenue, call me. I'll take over the forums and split the revenue with you 50/50.
