All I get is this warning box with a yellow exclamation point in it :

Of course I also got this message when I tried to reply:

"You do not have permission to post a topic in this portal!"

but it  obviously went ahead and posted the reply.

Maybe it sent my PMs too.

It is on a person profile page...but I also get this message when I try to use it.

I sent a PM to Ody telling him I haven't had any problems with this new board.  After I hit "send", I got the "You do not have permission to post a topic in this portal!" error message.  

Snidely, I just sent you a PM, which is a pain in the butt to do, since you have to change screens to the person's profile.  I did not, however, get a message saying I am not allowed to send the message.  So maybe you got it?  I wonder how you would know if you have a message.

Putting one's post into a portal without permission is a serious crime. Unfortunately, like some people, this forum sometimes says "No" when it means "Yes" and vice versa.
